RV Checklist App Reviews

This app is great. All the list items are editable and it lets you know the number of remaining unchecked items on each list so it makes it easy to be sure you have covered everything. The app is super easy to use. One empty list called My List is available for miscellaneous purposes. I will be using this for my spring maintenance list. Being able to use landscape mode would be nice for longer items and a couple more "My Lists" would make this app perfect in my opinion. My paper lists are now history.

If I tried long enough Im sure I could make it work, but its supposed to be a labour saving tool not a make work project. Word and dropbox will be easier.

If you have an RV or trailer, this is the best app ever for creating those checklists. Very adaptable and complete. Highly recommend it.

This app was a waste of money. Unnecessarily complicated, bad design, and just bad overall. You would be better off using a paper and pen. No joke.

Great idea and eliminates the paper checklist. Would be great if could edit on PC. Excellent initial release.

Its a handy app. One thing I would like to see would be the ability to rename the whole checklist and/ or add and delete them.

... for my RV travels! The only thing missing is an "Arrive at Site" checklist. If that feature is added, it will be perfect, then it will be a definite 5 stars.

Although it lists ipod touch 2nd gen. as compatible it will not install on mine. My softwares are up to date but itunes states this software is not compatible with the ipod... too sad... glad I didnt pay more for it.

Weve been using paper checklists for years, and this new iPad app will nicely replace those. Only took a short while to recreate my old checklist using Dans app. Dan, the ability to sort the lists alphabetically would be nice!

Great app! As a newbie to RVing, this is a wonderful tool.

This app is AWESOME! No more writing/losing/rewriting lists...theyre on my iPhone. Handy, customizeable, easy to use.

Gone are the days of printing my text file list to the pritner for every trip, and having to power up the PC to add new items. Always have the phone with me so if I think of something now included on the built in list just open the app and add it, then when comes time to complete the task just open the app and mark it complete. Just couple taps to clear the task done marks and be ready for the next trip.

After spending several hours transferring my checklists to this program it now crashes every time I start it.

I like this program and have been waiting a long time for syncing to come. It would be very nice to be able to allow syncing between iphones. This way two people can work on the checklist together and update it via wireless sync. The emailing does not work as it only sends a text file and does not allow for import or export. It time to look for another solution as I have waited to long for this one.

This is an interesting app and, like another reviewer mentioned, it is nice to not print paper copies. It does need the capacity to make notes on the checklists, though. It would be nice, for example, to be able to add reservation information to the reservation portion or specific medication information to the medication portion, etc. It would also be nice to have the option of creating multiple destinations under one checklist so the information is easily accessible.

Unbelievable app! Easy to use and yet very effective! Just bought my very first RV and was entirely overwhelmed with everything that was thrown at me by the salesman and technician. The series of steps you had to remember were very daunting! Upon delivery of my coach, I broke out the manual and RV Checklist and started refining/customizing the already extensive lists that come with this app. I even created my own. If you are an RV owner you know there are certain sequences of steps you must go through on some of your systems like generator Vs AC power. If you dont do them just right, then you can cause some serious damage to your coach! This checklist app completely eliminates or at least mitigates the human margin of error involved in setting up or breaking down your RV or camper! One reason i got this app was for my wife. She will be able to setup and breakdown the RV BY HERSELF with these checklists!! There are some minor querks with the app (like with most apps) but Dan has been flying those updates out to us users and they have been exceptional updates every time!! I would easily pay $10 for this app if he charged that much but he doesnt!! I dont know Dan or am paid by him but I can tell you this app is in my top five favorites!!

Just bought a motorhome and was trying to write a checklist when we found his app. App is very well thought out and flexible enough to tailor to your RV.

I purchased this app because I thought it would be a good reminder. As a pilot, I am very accustomed to having checklists and I thought this would be a good idea for our motorhome. For a beginner, it may be. But for someone who has been RVing for years, it is too general. It does have the capability to customize it, but that is just too much trouble. It is much more simple to just create your own checklist from scratch using any of the various generic checklist programs available. It does work, so for the beginner, I can easily recommend it. But for the experienced RVer like me, skip it and make your own. Its a lot less work than trying to make this work.

Bluetooth exchange only sends a list....does not allow true sharing. No support as Dan does not maintain a working website or email any longer. Would really like a refund as this is nothing more than a basic to-do program you can get anywhere for free. Preloaded lists that are supposed to be RV specific are VERY basic and non-detailed (and missing a LOT of key items).
